Policy concerning visitors to Shanti Bhavan

Shanti Bhavan is both a home and a learning centre for our children. It is important that their daily schedule is not disturbed in any way. It is equally important that the privacy of the children and the staff is respected even during their off-hours, such as holidays, and no undue burden is placed on the administrators by visitors.

While we would like other institutions and organizations to benefit from a visit to
Shanti Bhavan, we are unable to accommodate visitation requests except in special circumstances. Those who wish to visit Shanti Bhavan must inform us on the purpose of the visit, and also explicitly indicate the manner in which the visitor(s) may add value to or contribute to the benefit of the children.

Last Sunday of the month is the designated “visitors’ day” for those who are granted prior permission.  The visiting time is between 10 am and 4 pm. Visitors are not permitted on other days or hours, except by special permission. All visitors must obtain prior permission before visiting Shanti Bhavan by contacting the foundation head office in Bangalore at 080-2545573/2545574
or by emailing us.
